David is looking for his Canadian father David Gibbons a soldier stationed in Wittering, Nr Chichester, West Sussex. during WW2.

David was born mid November 1943 so was conceived mid February 1943. He knows from records that his father died 9th February 1979 but not which regiment he was in, only that he had a red patch on his sleeve.

David's mother May (Mable) Dear maiden name, Sawyer, was 25 years old when she had him.
